About
Built by teachers, for curious kids.
ABC Monsters is a small, teacher-led enrichment program serving elementary schools in the East Bay. Every class is designed by an educator and centered on hands-on learning.

Principal Teacher & Founder
Meet Mrs. Ayllon
ABC Monsters started in a school classroom. As a teacher, Mrs. Ayllon was filled with ideas — recipes, projects, small experiments — but not enough time in the school day to try them all. So she built a program where educators could bring the things they love to the students they know best.
She still leads every class herself: planning the weekly challenge, picking students up at their classroom door, and walking after-care students back at the end of class. Today, ABC Monsters partners with elementary schools in Walnut Creek to run small, teacher-led after-school classes in baking and creative hands-on projects.
“Educators have so much to offer. Always Be Curious.”

The name behind ABC
AlwaysBeCurious
“Curiosity is the ingredient I care about most. If a child leaves class asking one more question than they came in with, the lesson worked.”
— Mrs. Ayllon, founder and Principal Teacher
